GLBT Week Contest

Any good blogging event has a contest, and this one is fantastic! I've got a great pack of GLBT books and the prize pack includes these books-

Love Drugged by James Klise (signed paperback)
I'll Get There, It Better Be Worth the Trip: 40th Anniversary Edition by John Donovan
Jumpstart the World by Catherine Ryan Hyde (ARC)
What They Always Tell Us by Martin Wilson (signed hardcover)
Scars by Cheryl Rainfield
I Am J by Cris Beam (ARC)

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post. To get extra entries, you can also leave substantial comments (i.e. they have to have some thought other than "great interview/guest blog!") on any of the other posts this week, getting a total of 10 entries into the contest!

The contest will run until Wednesday, October 20 at 11:59PM. It is for North American residents only. Good luck to everyone!

  2. Thank you for hosting this blogging event and contest. As a blogger, I think that it is important that we focus on events and issues other than the books we hope to read. I will be checking back this week for your follow-up posts. I hope that Brian Katcher's Almost Perfect will be featured.

  10. Please enter me in this giveaway. Great titles! Thanks for spreading awareness about GLBT week. I have a gay aunt and I love her and support her no matter what. She is funny, strong, and wonderful. We always laugh and I look up to her in many ways. So happy to see awareness!

  12. Yay! What an awesome event week. This morning I saw a bunch of people standing on the corner of the busiest intersection in town holding signs proclaiming that they're gay, and it made me so proud I nearly cried. We've got a lot of issues in Florida right now and events like this really help to spread awareness.

Anyway, thanks for holding these giveaways. I'd love to be entered, and I'll be checking out the books even if I don't win anything :)

  13. Hey James! This is a pretty amazing week you're hosting. I'm only going to enter once, but hopefully one is my lucky number. :) Keep up the awesome work, and always nice to see you basking in your (truly amazing) gayness.

  16. Love, love, love your blog - it's probably a lot of work, but it's both worthwhile and wonderful. So, please, keep us informed with those book reviews and those interviews. I really liked your review of "Love Drugged" and I enjoyed your interview with James Kliss. (I was really interested to learn of his high regard for Shirley Jackson. I am a big fan of her book, "The Haunting of Hill House", which includes a lesbian character). I also got a big kick out of your interview with Brent Hartinger. I don't know his work, but I will check out "The Geography Club".
