  1. Jealous! Is it weird that I like how Harper Teen always uses the same mark for ARCs on books? LOL!

  2. Your face/voice when you said "The Awakening" was hysterical. I was expecting you to start cackling. xD

And I'm super jealous of Prada and Prejudice.

  9. Ahh, so jealous. Prada and Prejudice and Riding the Universe look amazinggg. And I think you just convinced me to find a copy of The Summoning. I've been eyeing it for a while, but I think I'm actually going to get it now. :)

    hope.

  10. Alea- No, I like it too, so you're not weird.

Khy- HAHA. That made me laugh out loud. I do remember when I did it- I like to spice things up every so often while saying titles. When Davin goes to get the Chinese food, I'll take a look at the vlog, lol.

Harmony- I hope yours does too! It's so weird how they're sending them out.

Letter Garden- Some publishers do, but the majority seem to avoid it. Ask Steph/Reviewer X about it- she lives overseas too, so she may have tips.

Ravenous Reader- I'm excited about the books I got this week too. :) I brought The Awakening and P&P with me on my trip.

Kristi- I can say it again next week too. :)

Sara and Megan- Thanks for commenting! :)

Hope- Yes, you should definitely get The Summoning! It is AWESOME.

  12. I'm so jealous that you got Silver Phoenix by Cindy Pon. I've been lusting after that book for a while now.

And you have The Awakening?! I'm so jealous! And I'm jealous that you have Prada and Prejudice!

You said that you have an extra hardback of The Summoning. Want to trade it for something? :D

  13. Carol- It's "had"- past tense, lol. I got it back when the book was first released and gave it away when I posted the review for it, I think. But I don't have it anymore, sorry. I do have the ARC though if you want to borrow it. And I could prolly send The Awakening with it too. :)

Which reminds me, I need to make a post or something about what I owe people, lol. I keep being like "Yeah, you can borrow this book!" and then I never get around to it since I can't afford to spend extra cash right now and then I forget who I promised what to... blah.

  14. Ahhh. I have an ARC of the first book but I'll be getting a hardback of the second book, but I'm anal sometimes and I really want both of them to either be ARC's or hardbacks, lol.

haha I'm like you as well. I also forgot what books I promised someone and I usually forget to mail them.

  15. Carol- Try and hold off a bit when The Awakening comes out in hardcover. Who knows- I may end up getting an extra hardcover copy of it and can then send you the ARC for keeps. :) I don't mind if the books are all weird sizes and all that, lol. Like, for the PD series, I have PD2 and 3 as mass market paperbacks, PD6-8 as hardcovers, and PD9 and 10 as ARCs, lol.
