I really enjoyed this book. It was a nice, fun read and a good update on Pride and Prejudice. I liked seeing the connections between the two and the characters in this new setting.

I couldn't put this book down. I literally curled up on my couch and read the book in several hours. It was a nice way to spend an afternoon. I liked Lizzie's voice and the situations she's put in. I enjoyed seeing the romance between her and Darcy, of course; I do like seeing two characters who originally hate each other learn to love each other.

Overall, this is a fun, sweet book. I'm not sure if it's worth the hardcover price (maybe at a discount), but it is a book to check out, however you get to it (except illegally downloading it- don't do that). Get to it via a paying method, or through the library.

    Glad to hear you enjoyed it! I'm always a bit wary of updates, but this one seems like it's actually good! (Plus, I totally agree with you about loving to watch characters who hate each other grow to like each other. Hehe!)

    Maybe there should be a duel of the P&P books, like this one and Prada and Prejudice. :)

    Oooh, this sounds like a really sweet read, I love the film Pride & Prejudice but can you believe I have never read a Jane Austen book! I borrowed Northanger Abbey from the library and couldn't follow all the old language (how embarassing!) I like to read historical fiction thats out now like The Luxe!

    I adored this book. I loved seeing how P&P worked in the modern world. The best way to describe the book is "cute," which may turn off some fans but it was just what I wanted.

    I love P&P retellings and "sequels." They're so fun to read! And I really enjoyed The Lonely Hearts Club, so this is definitely one I'm checking out.
